The way jewelry is sold has changed. Today, trust is built visually — often before a store visit, before a reply, before price is discussed. In fine jewelry, detail isn’t decoration. It’s proof.

That’s why consistent, high-quality visuals are no longer a marketing extra. They’re part of daily operations: new arrivals, client follow-ups, custom approvals, ecommerce listings, and social selling.

Starting April 20, 2026, Picup Media will operate as GemIQ.

This is a brand evolution – not a system change.

If you already use our tools, here’s what matters:

  • Same products
  • Same login and data
  • Same support team and service standards

What changes is the clarity of the platform – one name that reflects how everything fits together.

Why the name is changing

Picup Media began with a clear mission: help jewelers create better product visuals in-house.

Over time, jewelers needed more than “better photos.” Jewelers needed a complete workflow—fast, consistent, and controlled—without outsourcing delays or complicated setups.

At a certain point, it became clear: jewelers weren’t using individual tools. Jewelers were relying on a system.

GemIQ is the name for that system.

One platform, built around real jewelry workflows

GemIQ brings hardware and software together into one connected platform—built for capture, consistency, and speed.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • GemLightbox Pro — the world’s first AI-powered jewelry lightbox. Perfect lighting, automatically—so every piece looks consistent.
  • GemCam Pro — one-click capture of true colour and fine detail across jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones.
  • Elite Kit Pro — a complete AI-powered setup that delivers studio results without studio complexity.
  • GemSparkle — pocket-size lighting that makes mobile photos and videos instantly look professional.
  • GemIQ Software — your central workspace to capture, organise, share, and sell.
  • GemStudio — one-click software that creates hyper-realistic model and lifestyle shots for any jewelry—without models, shoots, or production delays.

Each part supports the next. One workflow. One standard.

What’s changing — and what isn’t

What’s changing

  • Brand name: Picup Media → GemIQ
  • Visual identity across emails, packaging, software, and trade shows
  • Sender names and domains will reflect GemIQ from April 20, 2026
  • During the transition, you may see Picup Media (now GemIQ) in certain places for continuity

What isn’t changing

  • Product functionality
  • Account access and data
  • Support team and service standards
  • How you use your tools day-to-day

How to recognise legitimate GemIQ emails

During the transition, it’s normal to see emails referencing both Picup Media and GemIQ.

Legitimate emails will:

  • clearly identify GemIQ (and during transition may reference Picup Media)
  • link to familiar official websites and support channels

For security, we will never:

  • ask for your password by email
  • request sensitive payment details by email

If anything looks unusual, contact support and we’ll confirm immediately.

Do you need to do anything?

No action is required.

One optional step that helps during sender/domain changes:

  • save the sender as a contact, or reply once to the announcement email with a simple acknowledgement.

If an email lands in Spam/Junk/Promotions, mark it as Not spam / Move to Inbox.

Why this matters now

Jewelry retail is moving faster. Expectations are higher. Visuals sit at the centre of that reality:

  • clarity reduces hesitation
  • consistency builds confidence
  • speed protects margins
  • control keeps your brand standard intact

GemIQ exists to support those outcomes—without requiring jewelers to become photographers or marketers.
